April 2009 Midwife Licensure / Board Exam Results
The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced that 2,052 out of 3,716 examinees passed the Midwife Licensure Examination given by the Board of Midwifery in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Legazpi, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga last month.
The top ten successful examinees are:
On the Board of Midwifery which gave the licensure examination are Dr. Alejandro R. San Pedro, Chairman; and Dr. Remy B. Dequina, Dr. Josephine H. Hipolito, Ms. Lolita I. Dicang and Ms. Rhodora L. Lopez, members.
The results were released in two working days after the last day of examination.
Registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will start on Monday, May 11, but not later than May 20. Those who will register are required to bring the following: duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, current Community Tax Certificate (cedula), 2 pieces passport size picture (colored with white background and complete nametag), 1 piece 1” x 1” picture (colored with white background and complete nametag), 2 sets of metered documentary stamps, and 1 short brown envelope with name and profession; and to pay the Initial Registration Fee of P450 and Annual Registration Fee of P420 for 2009-2012.
The oathtaking ceremony of the successful examinees in the said examination, as well as the previous ones who have not taken their Oath of Professional, will be held before the Board on Monday, May 25, at 1 p.m. at the Manila Hotel, One Rizal Park, Manila.

The performance of schools in the April 2009 Midwife Licensure Examination in alphabetical order as per R.A. 8981 otherwise known as PRC Modernization Act of 2000 Section 7(m) “To monitor the performance of schools in licensure examinations and publish the results thereof in a newspaper of national circulation” is as follows: (Any discrepancy in the report is not intentional on the part of the Commission, but rather due to miscoding of school codes by the examinees themselves.)
