PRC: 157 new April 2011 chemical engineers

MANILA, Philippines - The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced Monday that 157 out of 333 passed the Chemical Engineer Licensure Examination given by the Board of Chemical Engineering in Manila this April 2011.
Registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will start on Monday, May 16, 2011 but not later than May 20, 2011.

PRC: 2,361 new criminologists

MANILA, Philippines - The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced Tuesday that 2,361 out of 10,943 passed the Criminologist Licensure Examination.
The exam was given by the Board of Criminology in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga this April 2011.
The results were released in ten (10) working days from the last day of examination.
Registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will start on Monday, May 9, 2011 but not later than Friday, May 13, 2011.

PRC releases results of Electronics Engineer, Technician exams

MANILA, Philippines - The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on Thursday announced that 15 passed the technical evaluation for the upgrading as Professional Electronics Engineer while 20 out of 35 passed the Electronics Technician Licensure Examination and 1,170 out of 2,602 passed the Electronics Engineer Licensure Examination given by the Board of Electronics Engineering in the cities of Manila, Baguio and Cebu this April 2011.

Nonverbal Communications: Escape the Pitfalls

It begins even before you say your first word in an interview. As the interviewer walks toward you to shake hands, an opinion is already being formed. And as you sit waiting to spew out your answers to questions you've prepared for, you are already being judged by your appearance, posture, smile or your nervous look. 

Look back at speakers or teachers you've listened to. Which ones stand out as memorable? The ones who were more animated and entertaining, or the ones who just gave out information? This is not to say you have to entertain the interviewer -- no jokes required -- but it does mean the conversation should be animated and interactive. If you say you are excited about the prospect of working for this company but don't show any enthusiasm, your message will probably fall flat. So smile, gesture once in a while, show some energy and breathe life into the interview experience.

PRC: 3,185 new real estate brokers

MANILA, Philippines- The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced Friday that 3,185 out of 4,762 passed the Real Estate Broker Licensure Examination.
The examination was given by the Board of Real Estate Service in Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao and Iloilo last March 2011.

PRC sets deadlines for July 2011 NLE applications

MANILA, Philippines -- The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced on Wednesday the deadlines of applications for the July 2011 Nursing Licensure Examination (NLE).
The filing of NLE application for repeat examinees will be held on April 11-15, 2011 at the Dapitan Sports Center, Instruccion St., Sampaloc, Manila from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The Commission announced that first-time examinees may file their application on May 2-13, 2011 at the Occupational Safety and Health Center (OSHC), North Avenue corner Agham Road, Quezon City (near Trinoma and Veterans Medical Center) from 8 a.m to 5 p.m.
