April 2011 Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET)

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and the Board for Professional Teachers (BPT) announces that 5,221 elementary teachers out of 33,023 examinees (15.81%)35 Accelerated Teacher Education Program (A.T.E.P.) graduates out of 339 examinees (10.32%) and 7,690 secondary teachers out of 29,267 examinees (26.28%) successfully passed the Licensure Examination for Teachers (L.E.T) given last April 3, 2011 in 14 testing centers all over the Philippines and Hong Kong .

The Board for Professional Teachers is composed of Dr. Faith M. Bachiller, Chairman; Dr. Reynaldo T. Peña and Dr. Jesus L. Nieves , Members.

PRC April 2010 (LET) Teachers Licensure (Board) Examination Results

The result of the Philippine Teachers Licensure (Board) Examination (LET), which was held in Manila and all Regional Offices on April 18, 2010 has been released by the PRC. 4,835 elementary teachers out of 31,306 examinees (15.44%), 4 Accelerated Teacher Education Program (A.T.E.P.) graduates out of 109 examinees (3.67%) and 6,483 secondary teachers out of 27,802 examinees (23.32%) successfully passed the Licensure Examination for Teachers (L.E.T) given last April 18, 2010 in 13 testing centers all over the Philippines and Hong Kong. April 2009 Licensure Examination for Teachers Board Exam Results

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 7,470 elementary teachers out of 26,812 examinees (27.86%) and 5,914 secondary teachers out of 23,975 examinees (24.67%) successfully passed the Licensure Examination for Teachers (L.E.T) given by the Board for Professional Teachers on April 5, 2009 in 15 testing centers all over the Philippines and 1 testing center in Hong Kong. The Board for Professional Teachers is composed of Dr. Brenda B. Corpuz, Officer-In-Charge; Dr. Josefina T. Cunanan, Vice-Chairperson; and Dr. Reynaldo T. Peña, Member.

Registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be announced later. The requirements for the issuance of Certificate of Registration and Professional Identification Card (ID) are the following: duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, latest Community Tax Certificate (Cedula); 1 piece 1" x 1" picture (colored with white background and complete name tag), 2 pieces 2" x 2" picture (colored with white background and complete name tag), metered documentary stamp for the Oath Form; and the Initial Registration Fee of P600 and Annual Registration Fee of P450 for 2009-2012. Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.

April 2009 Teachers Licensure Examination, LET Exam Results

The teacher board examinations for elementary and secondary level were given by the Board of Professional Teachers. The exams were held on April 5, 2009 in all regional offices nationwide and in Hongkong. The list of Successful Examinees in the said licensure exam for teachers will be posted here as soon as the Professional Regulation Commission has released the results.

The composition of the Philippine Board of Professional Teachers are chairperson: Dr. Gloria G. Salandanan; vice-chairperson: Dr. Josefina T. Cunanan; and members: Dr. Brenda B. Corpuz, Dr. Flordeliza P. Mayari, and Dr. Norma A. Adamos.

September 2008 Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) Exam Results

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 17,816 elementary teachers out of 58,471 examinees and 18,801 secondary teachers out of 53,195 examinees successfully passed the Licensure Examination for Teachers (L.E.T) given by the Board for Professional Teachers on September 28, 2008 in 24 testing centers all over the Philippines.The Board for Professional Teachers is composed of Dr. Brenda B. Corpuz, Officer-In-Charge; Dr. Josefina T. Cunanan, Vice-Chairperson, Dr. Flordeliza P. Mayari and Dr. Norma A. Adamos, Members.

The results of examination with respect to three (3) examinees were withheld pending final determination of their liabilities under the rules and regulations governing licensure examinations.

Registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be announced later. The requirements for the issuance of Certificate of Registration and Professional Identification Card (ID) are the following: duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, latest Community Tax Certificate (Cedula); 1 piece 1” x 1” picture (colored with white background and complete name tag), 2 pieces 2” x 2” picture (colored with white background and complete name tag), metered documentary stamp for the Oath Form; and the Initial Registration Fee of P600 and Annual Registration Fee of P450 for 2008-2011. Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.

Oathtaking tickets are available at the Office of Professional Teachers, 3rd Floor, PRC Annex Building for NCR and Region IV passers; and at the PRC regional offices for the passers from the other regions.

REPORTS OF RATING will be distributed to successful examinees on the day of the oathtaking ceremonies, except for N.C.R. and Region IV.

Section 7(m) of R.A. 8981, otherwise known as the PRC Modernization Act of 2000, states one function and responsibility of the Commission, to wit: “To monitor the performance of schools in licensure examinations and publish the results thereof in a newspaper of national circulation.”

The performance of schools in the September 2008 Licensure Examination for Teachers is presented below in alphabetical order. (Any discrepancy in the report is not intentional on the part of the Commission, but rather due to miscoding of school codes by the examinees themselves.
