More tips: How to pass the IELTS Writing examination

THE WRITING exam, the third module in the IELTS(International English Language Testing System) exam for aspiring migrants to English-speaking countries, starts at around 11 a.m. and takes an hour. The candidate will be asked to write 150 words for task 1 and 250 words for task 2. For both tasks, candidates need to demonstrate their ability to write a response that is appropriate in terms of content, vocabulary and the organization of ideas.

April 2011 Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET)

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and the Board for Professional Teachers (BPT) announces that 5,221 elementary teachers out of 33,023 examinees (15.81%)35 Accelerated Teacher Education Program (A.T.E.P.) graduates out of 339 examinees (10.32%) and 7,690 secondary teachers out of 29,267 examinees (26.28%) successfully passed the Licensure Examination for Teachers (L.E.T) given last April 3, 2011 in 14 testing centers all over the Philippines and Hong Kong .

The Board for Professional Teachers is composed of Dr. Faith M. Bachiller, Chairman; Dr. Reynaldo T. Peña and Dr. Jesus L. Nieves , Members.

Popular courses such as nursing no longer recommended by CHED

“POPULAR courses may not be those recommended courses,” said Commission on Higher Education (Ched)-Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR) Director IV Dr. Freddie Bernal trying to prevent more students from enrolling in popular courses but not recommended ones.
The Ched issued a memorandum order asking for a moratorium on the opening of all undergraduate programs in Business Administration, Nursing, Teacher Education, Hotel and Restaurant Management, and Information Technology Education for the school year 2011-2012.
